WORSHIP BEYOND - PRAISE EXPLOSION 2019
2019.05.04 | Iruma shi, Shimin Kaikan Saitama | Text by Ptr. Elmer Fujiwara
As I thought about what the meaning of ‘explosion’ meant, I looked up the definition and one that certainly was perfectly appropriate - ‘an expansion of energy which is transmitted as an outward shock wave.’ This defines our experience here at Iruma shi, Shimin Kaikan Saitama.
There was an ‘explosion’ of lifting up the name of the Lord! The psalmist says in Psalm 100, ‘Shout to the Lord, all the earth! Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy.’ What an explosion of joy in the voices and feet of these JCOB worshipers on a Saturday. More than 500 JCOB believers exploded when worship beyond began!
To-Sai-Chi JCOB Districts 1 & 2 led us to explode in praise and worship - with their beautiful sounds of singing; with the dance presentation followed with excitement as we all hear the wonderful messages prepared by Ptr. Connie Ozaki, “Worship Beyond the Self” (out of the flesh worship). Then the Shizuoka and Aichi Worship team sang their rendition that brought the sound of shout and tears to the congregations, giving honor to God. Ptr. Evelyn Kato of JCOB Fuji shared “Worship Beyond the Limit” (all-out kind of worship) and the dance presentation that gave us a foretaste of the beauty of heaven.
Niigata opens afternoon program with praise and worship to magnify and glorify God. Ptr. Evelyn Kato of JCOB Niigata exhorted “Worship Beyond the Veil” (a worship unto the Holy of Holies). A dance number was rendered; and then followed by Pastors’ Ordination. Seven mighty men and woman of God dedicated their life to the service of the Lord. The anointing of God’s oil overflows through healing led by Bishop Dario Umali; baptism in the Spirit led by Bishop Abner De Guzman; and Direction of Life led by Rev. Jun Imperial and Rev. Elmer Fujiwara. The presence of God exploded when everyone received the prayers of all pastors during ministry time!
The great thing is that He does not stop exploding into the lives of these believers. God continued exploding His presence outside, seen and experienced by many when He poured out rain of hail after the victory song!
We want to thank the untiring effort from the Music and Media Department. “The offensive weapons of praise. To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified." Isaiah 61:3
To the Special Events Department, thank you! God's promises are sure, for all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” ascends to God for his glory. 2 Corinthians 1:20
To the Host Staff committees of Kawagoe Church, Ptr. Herbert & Ptr. Helen, thank you for your voluntary sacrifice that make these things possible. “Let the spoken word of Christ have its home within you, dwelling in your heart and mind—permeating every aspect of your being, as you teach spiritual things and admonish and train one another with all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God. Whatever you do, no matter what it is, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus and in dependence on Him, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Colossians 3:16-17
See you all again next year for a bigger explosion to come!
